From lapping to microgrinding – machining at Bombardi Rettifiche Srl, a company specialising in precision mechanics since 1964, entails large quantities of cooling lubricants that, when combined with machining waste, transform into difficult to-remove contaminants. The choice of a new modified alcohol cleaning system from IFP Europe solved several issues, from meeting automotive cleanliness requirements to reducing routine maintenance times and costs to automating the whole process in line with the Industry 4.0 parameters.
